Laboratory Module

This module consists several sub-sections such as Investigation master, Investigation group, investigation profile, lab advice, lab bills, lab results, lab price list, lab result summary, lab collection register, laboratory refund, MIS-Reports etc.

This module helps you to manage whole details about the laboratory contents, here are the steps to use this module.

 

1. Investigation Master:

  • Click on the Investigation Master from the list of sections of Laboratory module.

  • It will display all the Investigations along with the details like code, investigation name, group, test rate and much more.
  • You can also apply filters for search results.
  • Click on Add button, to add new investigations into the database.

There are 3 types of Report Type:

  1. Numerical: It is used to input values like Normal, High, and Low for investigations.
  2. Text: It is used to add detailed information about values of investigations.
  3. Write-up: It is used to create templates for different investigations in which user can add test according to one’s need.

 

To edit the Laboratory Investigation Master Details:

  1. Select Laboratory Investigation Master from the list.
  1. Double click on the selected Laboratory Investigation Master or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open screen.
  2. Change/ fill the details and press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.

 

To Delete the Laboratory Investigation Master Details:

  1. Select Laboratory Investigation Master from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu, or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected Receipt.

 

2. Investigation Group : 

  • Click on the Investigation Group from the list of sections of Laboratory module.

  • It will display all the Investigations group along with the details like code, group name, test rate and much more.
  • You can also apply filters for search results.
  • Click on Add button, to add new investigations group into the database.

To edit the Investigation Group Details:

  1. Select Investigation Group from the list.
  1. Double click on the selected Investigation Group or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open screen.
  2. Change/ fill the details and press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.

 

To Delete the Investigation Group Details:

  1. Select Investigation Group from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu, or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected Investigation Group.

 

3. Investigation Profile :

Click on Investigation Profile on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen to view the list of Investigation Profile.

 

To Add New Investigation Profile:

Press “Add” button on the menu or press “Alt + A”, it will open a screen as under:

 

To edit the Investigation Profile Details:

  1. Select Investigation Profile from the list.
  1. Double click on the selected Investigation Profile or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open screen.
  2. Change/ fill the details and press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.

 

To Delete the Investigation Profile Details:

  1. Select Investigation Profile from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu, or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected Investigation Profile.

 

4. Lab Price List : 

Click on Lab Price List on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen to view the list of Lab Price List.

 

To Add New Lab Price List:

Press “Add” button on the menu or press “Alt + A”, it will open a screen as under:

 

To edit Lab Price List Details:

  1. Select Lab Price List from the list.
  1. Double click on the selected Lab Price List or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open screen.
  2. Change/ fill the details and press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.

 

To Delete Lab Price List Details:

  1. Select Lab Price List Result from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu, or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected Lab Price List.

 

5. LAB Advice

Click on Test Advice on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen to view the list of Test Advice.

 

To Add New LAB Advice:

Press “Add” button on the menu or press “Alt + A”, it will open a screen as under:

 

To edit the LAB Advice Details:

  1. Select Test Advice from the list.
  1. Double click on the selected Investigation Profile or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open screen.
  2. Change/ fill the details and press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.

 

To Delete the LAB Advice Details:

  1. Select Test Advice from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu, or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected Test Advice.

 

6.  Lab Bill

Click on Lab Bill on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen to view the list of Lab Bill.

To Add New Lab Bill:

Press “Add” button on the menu or press “Alt + A”, it will open a screen as under:

 

Note: You can also add payment details from Payment Details section.

To edit the Lab Bill Details:

  1. Select Test Bill from the list.
  1. Double click on the selected Lab Bill or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open screen.
  2. Change/ fill the details and press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.

 

To Delete the Test Bill Details:

  1. Select Test Bill from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu, or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected Test Bill.

 

7.  Receipt :

Click on Receipt on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen to view the list of Receipt.

 

To Add New Receipt:

Press “Add” button on the menu or press “Alt + A”, it will open a screen as under:

To edit Receipt Details:

  1. Select Receipt from the list.
  1. Double click on the selected Receipt or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open screen.
  2. Change/ fill the details and press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.

 

To Delete Receipt Details:

  1. Select Receipt from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu, or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected Investigation Summary.

 

8. Laboratory Result Summary

Click on Laboratory Result Summary on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen to view the list of Laboratory results.

 

9. Laboratory Results:

Click on Lab Result on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen to view the list of Lab Result.

Click on Add button , to add the results of the lab tests.

To edit Lab Result Details:

  1. Select Lab Result from the list.
  1. Double click on the selected Lab Result or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open screen.
  2. Change/ fill the details and press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.

 

To Delete Lab Result Details:

  1. Select Lab Result from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu, or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected Investigation Summary.

 

10.  Lab Collection Register

Click on Collection register on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen.


Enter the criteria to view collection report and click on “Print”

 

11. Laboratory Refund :

Click on Laboratory Refund on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen to view the list of Laboratory refund.

To Add Laboratory refund Receipt:

Press “Add” button on the menu or press “Alt + A”.

To edit Laboratory refund Details:

  1. Select Receipt from the list.
  1. Double click on the selected Receipt or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open screen.
  2. Change/ fill the details and press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.

To Delete Laboratory refund Details:

  1. Select Receipt from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu, or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected Investigation Summar

 

12. MIS Reports :

Click on MIS Reports on vertical outlook bar on the left side of the screen to view the list of MIS Reports.

MIS Report is a master report from which we can view various other Laboratory module reports.

To View Various Reports:

  1. Click on the sub-reports from the menu which is on left side of MIS report.
  2. Enter the “From Date” and “To Date” and other search criteria and click on “Show Report”.
  3. A list of records will be displayed below according to your search criteria.
  4. Also, you can export the report to Excel with “Export to Excel” option given at the top.
