Spirometer module

This section will describe you to how to use Spirometer module, which is used to test and help to diagnose the various lung conditions, most commonly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Spirometry is also used to monitor the severity of some other lung conditions, and their response to treatment. Here, you can fill all these test results into our software.

Steps to use this module:

  1. In the Main Module, go to Spirometer section.
  2. This will display the following window of SoftClinic software.
  3. Here, you can view all the list of Spirometer test of all the patients, you can apply filters as per your need, to view the test.

To Add the New Spirometer Test Entry:

  1. Press “Add” button on the menu or press “Alt + A”. it will open a screen as under and choose the patient from the patient list (Select Patient Tab).
  2. Fill up all the details in each field of Smoking, Illness, Weight, Height, Age, Environment, Operator, Choose the doctor and expiry date.
  3. Enter the ECCS, Best Pre 2.2, Best Post 3.3, Change, Normal range, Limit, Pred Adjust.
  4. After filling this information, click on down arrow to add the details.
  5. Click “Save” button or Press “Alt + S” to save the new test entry.
  6. To review old test of patient click on period ie. drop down menu and select the filter to apply and it will display all the old visit list of the patients.
  7. After clicking “Save” button, you will see an option to print patient visit report, click on “Print” to directly print a report, “Preview” option will open report on screen for preview.
  8. Click on Preview button, to view review the report before printing.

To Edit Visit Details

  1. Select visit from the list.
  2. Double click on selected patient or press the “Edit” button on the menu, it will open the screen as above.
  3. Change/fill the details and then press “Save” button or press “Alt + S” to save the changes.


To Delete Visit Details

  1. Select visit from the list.
  2. Press the “Delete” button on the menu or press “Alt + D” to delete the selected visit.
